The 3 Days/2 Nights package is enough to carry out all the major activities in the reserve like Bird Watching, Jeep Safari, River Raft Safari, Guided Jungle Walks and Village Visit. It is ideal for guests with time constraints but still would like to enjoy all the wildlife, nature and socio-culture the area has to offer. The main attractions include Wild Water Buffaloes, Blue Bulls, Gangetic Dolphins, Nilgai, Jungle Cats, Bears, Deers, Elephants, Fish Eating Crocodiles, Golden Jackals etc. along with over 400 species of birds as we explore the marshes, inaccessible sandbanks and islands of the mighty Koshi River on foot, boat and wheels.

Day 1: Arrive at Koshi Tappu Wildlife Camp and begin half-day Bird-Watching or Jungle Walk

Arrive at Biratnagar Airport. Meet and drive to Koshi Tappu Wildlife Camp
1 pm - Lunch
3 pm - Bird-watching or Jungle Excursion to observe wildlife around Saptakoshi river on foot
7 pm - Dinner

Day 2: Early morning Nature Walk and full-day River Raft Safari and Jeep Safari after breakfast

5:30 am - Wake up call
6 am - Morning nature walk in the vicinity
8 am - Breakfast
9 am - 6 pm: Half day Raft Boat Safari on the upper part of Sapta Koshi River with a Naturalist guide to view the water birds, Water Buffaloes, Dolphins and various other water and land habitats. End boat trip by the bank of the river and have picnic lunch. Then, half day Jeep drive inside the reserve and then to the Koshi Barrage to view the abundant bird-life, animals, crocodiles and fresh water Dolphins. Late afternoon return to the camp. (Please note: Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve and surrounding area is wide and everyday guests will be taken to different areas).
7 pm: Dinner

Day 3: Early morning Bird-Watching or Guided Walking Tour and departure after breakfast

5:30 am - Wake up call
6 am: More Bird-Watching or Guided Walking Tour to observe wildlife in the nearby jungle
8 am: Breakfast
9 am: Transfer to Biratnagar Airport for your departure from Koshi (Optional: If you have late departure, then you can visit the pink tower near Koshi Barrage. This is also an excellent spot for bird-watching and animals. Extra cost applicable)

Package Price, Taxes and Other Charges (For Foreign Nationals)

Package Price (for 2 nights and 3 days): US$200 per person per night on twin sharing basis (US$ 400 per person for entire package).
Extra: Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve Entry Fee US$ 20 per person per day
Extra: VAT Tax 13% on top of the above price.
Extra: Private transfers ( Biratnagar Airport to Koshi Tappu Wildlife Camp and vice versa) US$ 100 net per jeep for one way transfer; US$ 200 for 2 way transfer.

Inclusions

Accommodation in safari tent on twin-sharing basis (each tent has 2 single beds and can accommodate up to 2 persons).
All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner and tea/coffee on odd timing).
